Today, as the economic crisis threatens the welfare of communities around the nation, the Methodist Hospital Foundation deepens its commitment to the people of South Philadelphia. We pledge to continue our stewardship of our neighborhood's most basic needs—a healthy body and a healthy spirit.

All funds donated to the Foundation are used solely for the betterment of the South Philadelphia community.

And in times of need, we must continue to serve the most vulnerable and to empower individuals and grass roots organizations to unite our diverse neighborhood and keep it strong.
